The National Platform for Emerging Student Researchers (NPESR) is a student-led nonprofit publication platform dedicated to showcasing original student research and scholarly writing. We provide students of all ages and backgrounds with an accessible opportunity to publish their work, share ideas, and contribute to the broader academic community.

NPESR was founded to remove barriers to academic publishing by giving students a place to share their original work, receive constructive editorial feedback, and engage with research beyond the classroom.
Our Mission
Our mission is to expand access to student research and academic publishing.
We believe that opportunities to conduct and publish research should be available to every student; not just those with access to university laboratories or established research programs. By providing an open publication platform, NPESR allows students to develop their research, writing, and critical thinking skills while contributing meaningful work to a growing community of young scholars.
Publications
NPESR publishes two primary types of work:
- Original Research Papers: Independent or mentored research across STEM and related academic disciplines.
- Scholarly Articles: Educational, analytical, and informative articles that communicate complex topics to a broader audience.
While our primary focus is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), we welcome high-quality submissions from virtually any academic discipline that meet our publication standards.
