How to Publish an Original Research Paper

Before submitting, review our publication requirements page to ensure your manuscript meets our publication standards, including formatting, citations, originality, and other submission guidelines.
Write/Submit your paper
Write your paper; once your research paper is complete, submit your final manuscript through the NPESR Publication Submission Form
The submission form asks for basic author information and allows you to upload your manuscript for editorial review (NOTE: NPESR only accepts final manuscripts for review).
Editorial Review and Decision
Our editorial team will conduct an initial review of your submission. Eligible manuscripts may also receive feedback from our academic reviewers and faculty partners. If revisions are needed, we’ll contact you by email with recommendations before making a final publication decision.
Authors are typically notified of a publication decision around two weeks of submission. Accepted manuscripts are professionally prepared and published on the NPESR website.
