At NPESR, our mission is to make research accessible for all students, regardless of background, while maintaining editorial standards. Every submission follows a structured review process designed to ensure originality and academic integrity.
Step 1: Submission
Authors submit their original research paper or article (final manuscript) through the NPESR Submission Form. During submission, authors provide what is listed on the Google Form.
Once submitted, authors receive a confirmation on the screen within Google Forms.
Step 2: Initial Editorial Screening
Our editorial team performs an initial screening to determine whether the submission meets NPESR’s basic publication requirements.
During this stage, we evaluate:
- Relevance to NPESR’s publication scope
- Originality of the work
- Basic formatting and readability
- Academic writing quality
- Completeness of the submission
- Compliance with ethical and citation standards
Final manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the author with feedback or potentially declined before peer review.
Step 3: Editorial & Faculty Review
Eligible submissions move to the review stage.
NPESR partners with university professors, researchers, graduate students, and experienced academic reviewers who provide constructive feedback on selected submissions.
The review process is intended to improve manuscripts while helping student researchers strengthen their academic writing and research skills.
Step 4: Revision
Based on reviewer feedback, authors may be invited to revise their manuscript (although we take a “final” version).
Depending on the submission, revisions may involve:
- Clarifying explanations
- Improving data presentation
- Strengthening arguments
- Correcting citations
- Addressing reviewer comments
- Refining formatting and grammar
Authors submit a revised version for final editorial evaluation.
Step 5: Final Decision
After review and any required revisions, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept: The final manuscript is approved for publication.
- Accept with Minor Revisions: Small changes are required before publication.
- Revise and Resubmit: Significant revisions are requested before further consideration.
- Decline: The final manuscript is not selected for publication.
Every decision is made with the goal of maintaining publication quality while supporting student researchers.
Step 6: Publication
Accepted manuscripts are professionally prepared for publication on the NPESR website.
Published articles receive:
- A dedicated publication on the website
- Permanent online access
- Author attribution
Once published, research becomes freely accessible to students, educators, and readers around the world.
